About Rachel
Actor

Rachel's acting career began at the age of twelve when she played Wendy in the film 'Peter Pan' (2003).
​
In the years since, she has taken on leading roles in films such as 'Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer' (2006), 'Solomon Kane' (2009), 'Tomorrow When The War Began' (2010), 'For Love Or Money' (2019) and TV shows such as ITV's 'Home Fires' (2015) and BBC's 'Clique' (2017).

Rachel has been nominated for six acting awards and won Best Actress at the 2015 Madrid International Film Festival for her performance in the indie film 'Highway to Dhampus'.

Alongside screen work, Rachel is also a Voice Over. She has narrated audiobooks for children and adults, radio commercials and performed in video games.
Writer

Rachel's writing career began with Creative Writing as part of her degree. She has had poetry and prose published in The London Magazine.
Rachel currently has two TV scripts in development with Balloon Entertainment and Hat Trick Productions respectively. She has provided Creative Consultancy and Script Reports for Goldfinch, Ipso Facto Productions and Script Stable.
She was a finalist for BBC Writersroom Comedy Room and writes a monthly Wellness Column for
Psychologies Magazine.

In 2023, Rachel launched a popular weekly Substack publication, 'Confessions Of A Lost Girl', which chronicles her experiences with acting, creative life, recovery from disordered eating & drinking,
motherhood and misadventure.
As a Children's Author, Rachel is passionate about writing for all ages – from Early Years Picture Books to Young Adult Novels. She focuses on themes of friendship and identity.
Her first Picture Book will be published in Spring 2024.
